Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is one of West’s Best Ski Resorts and one of the oldest in California. It retains the charm of a bye-gone era and has not succumbed to the rapid development and commercialization of other Tahoe resorts. And since Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort was acquired by the Tahoe Donner Land Trust, Sugar Bowl is now operating it and has improved conditions at Royal Gorge.

Homes in the Village at Sugar Bowl are available, usually over $1,750,000. The Village also has town homes on the market and picturesque lots on which to build your dream ski lodge. On the Judah side, luxury condos are sometimes available. Contact us for a private tour, any time of the year.

Also available in Norden, the region that houses Sugar Bowl, is the quaint ski resort called Donner Ski Ranch. Condos are available for purchase in the $200,000 – $400,000 price range. These condos are on the ski hill with beautiful views and most of them have one bedroom/two baths, with a built-in Murphy bed in the living room.
